Support For 138a:00a6 Validity Sensors, Inc

Hello,

I just purchased a new dell laptop that comes with 138a:00a6 Validity Sensors. Fingerprint GUI says "no devices found". The driver for this seems to be missing, can you please help me with this.

Thank you,
Aaron

I am having the same issue. I have the same sensor and I cannot get fingerprint-gui to see it. Even after removing the conflicting files from /etc/xdg/autostart. I found a person, on askubuntu forum, who claims to have make it work but the link he provided doesn't work anymore. Also there's no talk of the fingerprint-gui on his git-hub page.
